Linux will be changing its Disputed file’s pronunciation.

Many companies changing their product name because of black & white matter agitation. like “fair and lovely” was a change to “glow and lovely”.

Now Linux kernel is changing it’s disputed pronunciation of Linux file name.

Linux is a free and open-source OS kernel and it’s developed by Linus Torvalds in 1991 and Linus Torvalds was giving a permit to change coding file name which affects black and white matters.

Linux will change its file name like the blacklist, master/slave, etc in the future and replace it with another pronunciation word.

let’s understand the blacklist module in the Linux kernel.

In the linux, a blacklist module is used for preventing autoloading during boot so you need to add module name into a blacklist file.

A blacklist module is available into /etc/modprobe.d/* directory and here you can block any module using blacklist module.

There is 5+ blacklist files available into /etc/modprobe.d/ directory and you can prevent auto-loading module according to a blacklist file name.

According to Linus Torvalds there no option of change file name right now but, he defines some other word. for replacement of file names like blacklist/whitelist change to blocklist/passlist and master/slave changes to primary/secondary.
